The COVID-19 pandemic has reshaped our lives in many ways. We’re experiencing new kinds of stress, illness, and concerns. Our bodies and minds need more attention than ever before, and Costa Lifestyle Medicine is still here for our clients and their healthcare needs. Because of the current situation, we’ve implemented a new safety protocol within our practice.

The governor of California has stated that we are an essential care service and has allowed us to remain open. Based on information and regulations from the CDC and WHO, we’ve made a few changes. 
 

Our new COVID-19 safety regulations:

1. Before coming in for your appointment, you will be required to fill out a COVID-19 screening and consent form. We ask that you fill this out the day of your appointment.

2. In order to keep socially distanced from other patients, we ask that you remain in your car until we text you that it is time for your appointment.

3. Once you come in for your appointment, you will have a contactless temperature measurement before receiving care.

4. All our staff will be wearing face masks, and we encourage patients to do so as well. We are providing free disposable masks at the front.
    

Protocol we are keeping the same:

• We thoroughly sanitize the office and equipment between patients.

• We take by-appointment only.
   

Today, we have not had a staff or any patient contract COVID-19. We believe that is because of our strict safety measurements that we’ve been able to remain open, and we’d like to keep it that way.
