About us
We are a Chiropractic and Functional Medicine Wellness Clinic.
We are currently searching to add a Front Desk/ Wellness Care Coordinator to our team. Through our functional medicine clinic, we focus on treating patients with a whole body, root cause approach. We spend considerable time getting to know the health history and current conditions of each patient. Patients are supported in our clinic by providers, health coaches, medical assistants, and our Front Desk & Patient Coordinator.
We are looking to add an experienced Patient Care Coordinator/ Front Desk Associate to our team. You will work alongside our Chiropractic and Functional health care practitioners to support a variety of responsibilities.
Job Summary :
Welcome patients and provide them with a WOW experience. You are the face of the clinic and get one chance to make a great first impression. This position requires empathy, positivity and genuine care for our patients in our community. Proficiency, efficiency, and multitasking in the full range of general office services, communication with patients, providers and staff, internal and external marketing are necessary. Basic knowledge and belief of chiropractic, functional medicine and massage including insurance are required.
Essential Job Functions:
- Answering phone calls, texts, and emails in a timely manner.
- Charging for procedures, packages, and supplement sales
- Reports and supports providers and the team
- Helping patients with any questions about services provided including specialties, techniques, retail items, services offered and insurance
- New patient inquiry outreach
- Scheduling and rescheduling
- Billing and collection costs
- Complete overflow work from providers
- Keeping and maintaining a full schedule for all service providers and scheduling patients to complete treatment plans
- Office Administrative Management - ordering office supplies, cleaning routinely, upkeep of premises and maintenance
- Maintain and order inventory and maintain confidential files and patient health records
- Work autonomously as well as in a team setting
- Make decisions using critical thinking skills, solution oriented
- Keeping financials balanced daily, cash handling
- Navigating patient communications
- Events: Participation in at least 5 off/in-site events per year (paid)
- Additional responsibilities as directed by management as needed
Qualifications:
Experience and Education
- Must have 1-2 years in administration or healthcare, preferably physical medicine, naturopathic and or functional medicine.
- High School Diploma College a plus but not required
- Must speak fluent in English
- Knowledge and belief of Chiropractic, massage, decompression natural functional solutions
- Customer service experience required
Skills and Attributes:
- Detail-oriented outgoing and friendly
- An ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure. Multitasking is key while maintaining a friendly and outgoing demeanor
- Use of Google docs EHR computer and software
- Proficient in typing and internet searches
- Be able to clearly communicate with patients clearly with a deep understanding of the services our clinic provides.
- Be able to support a continuously growing patient population.
- Ready to accept new challenges, guiding our clinic toward continued growth.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (6 plus hours ) in and out of the chair.
- Must be able to bend, twist, and lift (occasionally 20 lbs. or more).
- Basic cleaning duties (sweep, vacuum, laundry, trash, dusting, bathroom maintenance)
